The Little Seed Named Hope
Written and Illustrated by Tiffany Waugh
In this tender and vibrantly illustrated picture book, a little seed named Hope finds herself buried deep in the darkness—unsure of what lies ahead. Surrounded by only silence and soil, she wonders if she’ll ever see the light again. But what if being in the dark isn’t the end…but the beginning? A poetic and heart-centered story for all ages, The Little Seed Named Hope mirrors the journey of transformation, healing, and believing in ourselves—even when we can’t see what’s next.
Perfect for bedtime reflection, classrooms, and moments of connection with children, this book plants a seed of resilience in the hearts of readers both young and old. For anyone who’s ever felt buried—this book is a reminder that sometimes, the light we need is already within us.
Welcome to Books by Tiffany Waugh—I'm so glad you are here! This space is just beginning to grow—where I hope that stories bloom, hearts are nurtured, and inspiration is always within reach!

About Tiffany Waugh
I am an author and artist inspired by a deep love for the beauty of nature and a passion for the wonders of the earth. I believe the natural world doesn’t just surround us—it speaks to us. As a mirror to our life's journey, nature reminds us of our connection to the rhythms of growth, resilience, and renewal that are revealed to us through every season.
With a professional background in graphic design and communications, my creative path has evolved into one rooted in passion and purpose. I now focus on crafting stories that support social and emotional learning for children. I believe it’s vital to begin these conversations early, helping young hearts understand that challenges are part of life, and that learning how to care for their inner world and understanding their feelings, is just as important as learning about the world around them.
Communicating with children is a pure joy of mine. Through my books, I hope to spark wonder, courage, understanding and connection—to nature, to themselves, and to the deeper truths that help us all grow.
With love,
Tiffany
